Do you pay to get it back? What if you go through the trouble to send the money as a BitCoin but never hear anything back? This happens every day.
Not only does it happen to individuals who may be careless with their web-browsing habits, it happens to businesses --banks, manufacturers, service companies, and so on, resulting in billions, with a B, of ransom payments each year, and the incidents are increasing significantly.
